Is that website for real? It looks pretty sketchy.

Do you guys actually order from it? How is the service?

Now I found the Yokomo parts section, it actually looks like it has everything we need.

I have ordered from them, It was no problem, only thing is they don't have anyway of telling you when you order if the product is in stock, so if they don't have it you get a refunded for the out of stock items. I believe they are selling off old stock from somewhere and once they sell out they are not restocking.

I am still running my BDM, its still a great car. As a matter a fact, its faster than my BD5, but in all fairness, I have not spent much time with the bd5 yet.

I have been using a smc5200 batteries, I don't use the center brace, so all I had to do is file the rear bulkhead some and shorten the topdeck screw there. I also us a lipo brace, its floating between the chassis and the brace standoff so it doesn't stiffen the chassis or give tweek. I will attach a couple pictures.

Just picked me up a used BD and parts on the cheap myself. Been wanting one of these for awhile. Now mind you I still race my MF xxxs in mod and was going run this in 17.5. I'm old school or is it cheap? lol

Im about to sell my second and last yokomo bd4, and i have a heap of parts left over , which i would like to sell.
If you need any parts, i am selling them quite cheap, and some are NIP. all used parts are in good condition, and i'll ship worldwide if i have to.
please check the ad, and pm me what you need.
keep in mind prices are in AUD(australian dollars), and exclude postage.

Has anyone tried using the AE TC5 lipo brace? Im sure I can make it fit.

I hope to get my car on the track next week, just getting the lipo placement sorted right now.

My car had a broken bell crank plate so I modified the linkage to help improve upon it while I wait on the BD5 plate. THe things you do late at night tinkering. :P

If you cant get one, i know the 416 one works, as well as the BD5 one. Im currently using the 416 one and the car is much better than with the std piece You do need longer steering tie rods though
