lazy handling is usually a rideheight/droop/damper issue

but a brief description of what is on the car would really help for now

I want to find some setup sheets for my car. trying to set my car up for a medium size track, asphalt surface with sweeper corners, nothing too tight.

anyone got any tips on how to set this up?
heres a pic of my car

Hi,
I use d to have this car , and other versions od MR4 Tc also . I raced it on carpet and asphalt also.
For asphalt I would propose such set up
Front:
springs-flu. green
pistons: 2 hole
oil:50
shock mount ut

rear :
springs :yellow
piston:3 hole
oil: 30
shock mount : out higher ( both tower and arm)
long links

front sway bar

that is what I remember
I used ANDY'S Dodge stratus.

I really enjoyed this car that was the first very good touring car. IT was competitive for many years.

I still have my body with MASAMI HIROSAKA autograph

Default which mr4tc do i have?

My mr4tc is similiar to the one in the above picture and i broke the front shock tower almost 2-3(?) years ago and have not played with it? it is belt driven and i believe that it was one of the first ones to come out. The chasis is made of graphite and i'm looking for a replacement front shock tower, would anybody be able to point me in the correct direction?

this didn't really seem right:

http://www.yokomousa.com/manuals/mr4tc_partslist.pdf

will this part fit?
Yokomo Molded Shock Towers F/R for MR 4TC - Part SD017T

BD-017G i think is the correct part number, however i cannot find it anywhere on the market...

hopup parts would be acceptable too..

thanks in advance.

Hi Schumi, very nice work!!

are you going to use all tamiya's trasmission parts (belts, pulleys etc..)?

i think you'll use 416 suspension sets.......

Keep us updated on this work..

Chris.

Hey the shopping cart is back on on the yokomousa's site so is this the new management??

Were Horizon & Great Planes distributing Yokomo parts or are these new development at work. Go to following to know what I mean:

yokomousa.com
>click on >Parts List button>scroll down all the way and click on >To find a local dealer, click here> scroll down 2/3 of the way> find the info for Distributors in US

don't see a whole lot of Yokomo on any of their sites yet. If anyone knows anything please share.

I don't think anything has been updated. If you click on shop in the Yokomousa site, you will get the same message previously posted.....

Yep, you guys are right, I hadn't clicked on the add to the cart buttons either...thought the shop was open and running again.
Anyway what's the deal with Horizon & Great planes being listed as distributors. Only Horizon has hardly a few Yok items on their site.
