Hi guys, i've some news regarding top-deck
as mentioned on my blog i've asked Fibre Lyte UK the price for the parts
so they could do 2.6mm top deck for 14.5 GPB and 3.00mm for 16.5 GPB

so i'm ordering mine, if anyone is interested to buy could contact Stephen at Fibre Lyte at this address [email protected] and ask for yokomo Top deck by cristian di stasi.

later will be avaible also a special chassis in 3.0mm thicnkess....

Ciao!!

i just read today some of the worst news i've heard in a long time

Notice to our Web Shopping Customers and Yokomo Users
We are sorry to have to announce that Yokomo USA has decided to stop Web shopping services as of December 31, 2008.

Yokomo USA has been supporting Yokomo customers in the USA for over ten (10) years, and with web shopping for more than three (3) years, and will now turn over sales and support to a worthy company.

We have directly contacted customers with pending back ordered parts. However, if you feel you didn't get contacted, please contact us right away, as we want to conclude back orders by January 9th, 2009.

We will continue for a limited time to supply tech and product support. This support will be primarily by e-mail. If urgent support is needed then don't hesitate to call us directly.

Since 1997 we have had the pleasure of providing Yokomo products here in the USA, and have come to know and interact was many types of drivers of Yokomo RC cars. We feel truly thankful and privileged for having had that opportunity.

We hope that you will be able to continue to get Yokomo products from retail shops in the USA. Upon request, we'll provide you with names of retail shops which handle Yokomo products.

Thank you, for all your support of Yokomo USA, over the past decade.

does this mean yokomo usa is out of biz completely? or are they just downsizing and not dealing direct anymore?

im glad I made my huge order already on christmas , they had a 30% discount on it, too

I also found some of the hard to find and very strong suzuki front knuckles for $30 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=350052445280

Martin,
greta blog mate! have you noticed a difference in handling or steering with the single bell crank vs the duel bell crank?

What are the advantages of the CGM steering mod?

cgm steeringmod on the bd cures the lock-problem -> less understeer when hb c-hubs are used

on my car I tested both and the centerpoint steering feels more aggressive

I felt this before but with the standard bd suspension it totally burnt the tires

cgm mod has been explained earlier on

centerpoint can't be done on a standard bd + it does not have advantages with the stock suspension other than the fronttires wearing badly
