In order to get a stiffer top deck, I simply superglued two top decks together.

Once I got a higher thickness I could machine (I used a Dremel, actually) the upper one in order to use tapered screws.

bd-002hg or gh, not sure about the order of the letters but it is definitely stiffer than the stock chassis.

capellone24, that is a very interesting top deck you have designed. I would like to join the others and be on the waiting list. With Caltek after one as well will be able to order them together, so that would make at least 4 to ship to Australia.

The actual question was for a stronger upper deck rather than stiffer. I would like one that can take a bit more of a beating, as when I crash, it is usually a high speed into something hard and I find I can delaminate the upper deck easy.
It is so hard to fix the driver, but so easy to blame the car.

you are right....a bit stronger topdeck was my first idea.

i'll try to make all the possible to cut some topdecks by the end of the month...and try to make it at a reasonable price.

ciao
