I say 2 or 3. A refined version. There is no doubt the car is good, it just needs a few refinements, doesn't need a complete overhaul.

cool, i like car 1 and 3. IMO It would be cool if there was a new car released and an update kit for the old bd.

anyone else?

I like #3 but for some reason it seems Masami doesn't like the single bellcrank steering

is it just me..
or does number 3 look like it has the TC5 steering crank (center) installed upside down.

Yok really needs to consider using 3mm hinge pins...the current ones are not really strong at all...a few hits and it does bend

The prototypes look realy nice, masami also showed that the car is competetive, as we all know. 3mm pins would be a good idea, but on the other hand , you will then brake your arm.

I just have to say one more time that i dont understand why is yokomo not puting a new car to production ( or a new version of bd)

I remember when we had a Nationals in 2000 and top 3 mains ,, where only yokomos!!!

Anyhow hope they will relese something new.

hey guys... i had a few questions about springs. i got an assortment of Yokomo springs (i think) with a CGM i recently acquired, and curious if anyone can give me the rates, or where they line up on the various charts.

first row, pink, red-orange?
2nd row, green, yellow
3rd row gray, orange
4th row red

and on the car currently,

flourescent green front

flourescent yellow rear

have a BD on the way, and wondering which of these will best for rubber/carpet.

I think you may have some GT4 (stiffer nitro car springs) and MR4 springs there.

If you have a caliper - measure the thickness, then count the number of coils. In the Yokomo part numbers, thickness is the first two numbers, coils is the second two numbers, so for example the yellow spring on the car is 1.4mm x 6 coils, YS-1460.

For rubber, that green/yellow setup is pretty close to what you want to be running.

Yea, I thought maybe the green, orange, and gray might be gas. The green/yellow combo makes sense. I put it on the track last week and it ran pretty well, for not knowing springrates, or even what oil is in the shocks, lol.
