From what I can see, Masamis car had:
new top deck
new bottom deck
new front tower
new ackerman plate
new front hinge pin blocks
new rear hinge pin blocks
new spacers for wheelbase
new c hubs front
new steering knuckles
new (old revised) suspension arms
these are all new bits that you dont get when you buy a new Masami BD kit.

new hex drives
front spool
rear alloy diff halves
locked center pulley

I think this is enough to warrant them releasing a BD update kit. I know I will buy one if they ever release it.

Not really sure when Yokomo will release a new car. Like everyone else I'm interested to what the final version looks like.

yes the 2.5mm hingepins bend pretty easily but rather a bent hingepin for a few cents then a bent suspension mount

there'll be a improvement

Hi Martin, could you confirm that world's car had 2.5mm hinge pin on the hubs??

I think that one of the weakest point of this car is the easly slop on the rear hub, and a thicker hinge pin will help to solve...

and ,at last, do you know something about the release of new parts (i'm waiting for a stiffer topdeck)?

The BD has three hole right in the middle of the chasis. If I remember correctly the Sd had three posts that you can attach a carbon stiffiner to. I'm just not sure if it lines up with the BD holes.

I won't confirm it, but you can be pretty sure it'll have 2.5mm pins.
