Hi i was wondering if i could get some setup tips from you guys. I know that some of my questions can be directed to drivers of other touring cars but id prefer it if they came from bd drivers as each car is slightly different.

Ive only just started racing so i dont really know what im doing so any help would be appreciated.

My problem is that the car doesnt feel planted and it understeers badly mid corner.

My current setup is

Front:
50wt oil
Rayspeed White spings
4.5mm ride height
2nd from inner shock hole at the tower and middle hole at the wishbone
normal wishbones
4mm spacer at from of wishbone none at back
2mm droop

Rear:
50wt oil
Yokomo black springs (all white springs with dot of colour)
5mm ride height
2nd from outer shock hole at tower and outside hole at wishbone
normal wishbones
2mm spacer either side of the wishbone
3 deg toe in
1mm droop

I run muchmore absolute 24 preglued rubber tires with additive and this is on a small twisty carpet track in the Uk. The track itself has only one straight with the rest of it being chicanes (sp?) and hairpins. I dont run more droop as i tried an old ollie jefferies setup with 5mm droop but the car struggled and it looked like it was gonna grip roll. I havent tried roll bars as i cant find any in the uk without ordering. I have the car gear with a quite high FDR as i have only just started racing i would prefer to get used to the track rather than just crashing all the time. I have a front one way and a direct drive in the middle. I currently run 27t motors.

How do i get more grip mid corner? I tried putting the shocks at the back more vertical by putting the shocks on the 2nd from outer hole at the tower but it just made the back end slide with no grip.

I think ive listed as much as i can remember so any help would be appreciated if you need to know more let me know and ill try to tell you the info.

Thanks
Mike

Default BD setups

Articnova - have you tried the CML website? www.cmldistribution.co.uk
Click on DOWNLOADS then SETUP SHEETS. Click on the car then GO.

It looks like Chris Grainger specified using SD .4 degree hubs. I always thought that the SD hubs were identical to the BD?

I am after some help locating drive shafts. I have SD-010FC for the front, and I am after some Low Friction Universal Driveshafts. I think they they are SD-010RC or SD-010RS.

Can anyone tell me where I can get them? I have tried RC Champ and RCMart.

They are. a lot of the team drivers tend to use the old MR4-TC hub carriers (think it's a ZS part no) or HB bits so he's just specifying which one.

Hi there !

I was wondering if someone had the chance to get the TITC 08 Set-up sheet from Masami Hirosaka or Chris Grainger.
Any info or link are welcome !

Thank you.
