Having seen Chris Grainger testing a multitude of different parts and solutions it looks like the std car matches or is better than all the 'new' ideas tested.....
Having driven Xray before its nice not to feel you have to get the 'new' (maybe) 'improved' car every 10 -12 months!
So we shall see..... new isn't always better but its nice to know it will all be thoroughly tested to make sure its better before its released....!

i guess to only revision 'needed' is new rear uprights, castor blocks and steering knuckles so as to not have to use HB parts and drill out the arm.

the fact that this car has only 2 'major' changes in 4 years or so, and is still fast speaks alot for the design.

biggest problem to fix is to stop it tweaking so easy.

good luck in the search.
Hey do you remember me from horsham. I was the guy who had the BMI Cyclone and BD. I have decided this year(if the is any carpet Sedan) to run the BD. I have a 3mm chassis and just need a decent top plate and 1 mm toe in block. Seeya somewhere there is carpet sedan.

thanks for the help
run less rear toe in. Try 2mm or 1.5mm toe in. Also tighten your rear diff more, and run a shorter wheelbase

thightening up the rear diff lets you get less steering. the rearend just gets looser.

try using 2,5 rear toe-in, that should give you tons of steering. In Germany nearly all teamdrivers use my setup and are very pleased with it as it has tons and tons of steering with spool. sometimes they even have too much :-)

Thanks to Martin Hofer on the Set up help via PM. Took it out at the track today and qualified second on the grid. The car was good all day and my car had good steering and balance. Didn't do quite so good in the final due to glitching problems on a portion of the track.... Got rid of after the race by rebinding but too little too late....

fpart...
sorry..i didn't see your post earlier. Sent you a PM.

I tried searching where the PDUB bumper was at..but can't seem to find it..
try the Josh Cyrul site...CEFX....believe he carries some stuff...Pdub i believe.

I used the Yok wide bumper with kydex....just trimmed down the front a little...not the best solution but i got it to work..

another option is to get the parma block piece and cut the Yok pattern out...with a dremel and then sand down a bit...comes out great.

Is there anything new from the Japanese Nationals? New prototype parts for the BD?

Report from Japan, no new parts from Yokomo. Car is pretty standard, almost the same as last years car. Working quite well, today last day of free practice before controlled practice and qualifying starting on friday.
