I'm using these spool too.
I was using them on my T2 and now with my BD. As it was said, these spools are just awesome. Adjustement are just perfect and wear is very limited even with brushless power.
You can buy with confidence!!!

if you can also add one extra post on each of the corner(4 corners), like a wing style from xray. that would stiffen up the chassis even more. that way you can either stiffen or loosen up the chassis depends on traction. Because I think 4mm is way to over kill and with extra weight you carry. Not to image the price tag is going to carry over.

just some thought.

Is someone making a 3mm foam chassis kit for the bd. If so i agree with Ming. I would like to see a 3mm chassis with the bulkhead cutouts and a top plate with wings(ala XRAY or BMI(cyclone)). Then I would run my BD indoors too!

Yep, I'd be interested in a more flexible chassis as well.
But lke said earlier, would it be interesting to make a soft chassis plate and make that stiffer by use of different top plates, like the xray chassis.

Any idea of the price range of the chassis??

i recently got the alum yoke spool, ran 4packs modified and raced 23T with it... spo far so good... although i did notice that the steel universals had a bit of wobble... too bad i cant use my TC4 bones with the yoke spool.

anybody tried widening the rear track width of the BDM to match the front? 190mm? it seems that i gained a bit of stability and steering when i made the rear wider... just wanted to see if anybody else had the same results...

Yes, look for it early 2008. It'll be an updated version of the Masami kit, since its TC Worlds year...

Default 3.5 mm chassis

Just a note from past Yok BD experience.
anyone looking to release or make a 3mm or thicker chassis...
milled out pockets are a must for the BD...
the car does not like to sit high on a straight 3mm lower deck, the roll centers just don't get right.

I've used two different 3mm chassis and the car just didn't feel right at all, but once I put the car back down to the intended Yok (hard chassis) chassis it got all the grip back.

a 3mm or 3.5mm top deck would be great but the belt path needs to have a pocket also, belt will rub and where down very quickly without it. I always wanted to see someone release a 3.5 top deck with the pockets milled on the underside to keep the center of gravity as low as possible and assist the flex with a key-in effect.

just a few thoughts....anyone listening
