Thanks for the info olhister1. That`s a new type of feature to me.....it`s different.

I`ve aslo heard that the MR4-TC BD Kit is Weak. People say if the kit even makes a small bump against something it will be somewhat Out-Of-It(Tweaked).
-Is that True? Only you guys would know.

Thanks

Take Care

if you ever see how olhister1 crashed the BD and held up after the race... i won't worry that much...

BD is a good car.. but if you crash a lot at full speed... every car would be tweaked!! even if you have the 4mm top and bottom deck... at least it is not like the original T2... tweak after every run!!

Is that the fan mount that almost looks like it's a post? I could have sworn that they released it around the same time as the bd. Can you verify? Maybe with a picture, there isnt one on the yokomousa site.

Hey aoizip; thanks for the info. You`re right; any R.C. Car would get Tweaked from a hard crash. . . . .(I think I Tweaked My Evo 5 from a crash; that`s why it`s pulling to the Right.....?).
-Alright; sounds good. The MR-4TC BD is a tough kit. I might get 1 this Friday.

Thanks

Take Care.

JasonC
thanks, wasn't sure if they were interchangeable (front to rear). the blue CVDs wore out pretty quick on mine but the original blue rears are still running true. The steels in front work great not a problem yet.
I'm going to have place an order for the fan mount, more blue aluminum for my Yok.

Guy,
I've hit the Yok BD quite hard, I would say the most durable car I have had...haven't broken one arm since the release of the BD (the reg and BDM versions). I carry a box full of parts that I have never used. Maybe I should sell my stock to Speedtech...

Steering plate will break everyonce in a while but once I started prepping it with CA, around the outside of the plate makes it quite tougher.
just check the hinge pins they do bend every once in a while...not a factor if you drive good.
Still have my original BDM bearing in the car and they are still running smooth.

The only problem I had with the car was actually the cheapest thing to fix, the standard ballcups needed to be changed to a keep them from popping out. total 6.00 dollars...and made the car a tank.

and loves to go fast as spit.

Now compare that to other brand cars and you'll see running a Yok is cheaper, faster and all blinged out.

I was thinking of buying another BDM and thought I read that some people were modifying the steering on their cars. I believe i read they some are using Hb or 415 steering knuckles, anything else?

Default Steering mod

Switchblade
there are a number of posts in here about the HPI/HB steering mod with a few pics.

I haven't tried the mod myself but from the few I've talked to they say it gave them quite a bit more steering.

What ball cups did you use as replacements.

thiers nothing wrong with the stock ball cups other then a little play, and you can cure that with a piece of teflon tape or a zip lock bag, but a good replacement is the open eye type for the sway bar, some use the one from the bx but they are to long and need to be trimed down.

have you tried using this cool gadget for your BD??? i think the proper question should be "is it available at curious mind's favorite lhs???"
