We r using only oneway, but now with the brushless system achieving over 500W of power spool is becoming more and more interesting

Could anyone tell me what the weight of the springs are that yokomo, rayspeed that goes on the BD? Also where can you find setup sheets. You use to be able to go to the yokomo.tk site and find setups? And finally, what pistons do most racers run, I saw that rayspeed had the 2 hole 1.0 and 1.1?

thanks, i was pretty sure thats the way it was suppose to be.

on my standard bd there is a spacer that goes between the bearings in the rear hub, but looking over the directions for a part number for it, heck i can't even find the spacer in the directions but it must be there somewhere, (getting old sucks).

For tight technical carpet track one-way is the ticket.

What happened to the guy willing to make a carpet chassis for the BD?

For me, a one way is better for rubber on carpet but, our track and series runs foam. All that traction changes things and my cars all seem to push a little more than I like on power with a one way. However on asphalt, I wouldn't run anything else.

The BD carpet chassis should be ready by the end of the month or so according to LocalRacer. I guess he'll let us know.

looking for a BD main chassis plate... for asphalt racing. our local distributor seems to have run out of stock and would take a while before fresh ones arrive. tried to look at the more popular on-line retailers but its either they've run out of stock as well or won't ship here to the PI.

anyone know where i could purchase one? i can pay through credit card (unfortunately, we don't get paypal back here).

thanks!

Are some of the things you are working out:

Battery position(Front to rear)?
Battery position (moving it closer to centerline). If you move it forward a little, you can move it more to centerline(a little)?
Wheelbase. I was told that BMI is adding some wheelbase in their carpet chassis for a Cyclone.
Rear toe. Are you drilling the chassis different so that it can take the old BD a -arm mounts to that you can get toe in to 1 degree( preferred for stock carpet racing in US)

Please let me know..If so i am very interested!

Default BD on the rug

Ran the BD for the first time this eve on carpet with foams. Car was down 2/10ths from my T2 lap times early on but by the third pack it was right on par and getting faster. I'm running a front diff, the hard chassis, graphite suspension and decided to go with my LCG rear shock tower, blue springs up front and greens in the rear. Shock oil is 40 front 30 rear 3 hole 1mm pistons. Anybody have anything to add or change to this setup? The car is close already but I feel like there's more potential. Overall, it's freakin awesome so far!!
