Default Nice to meet you, Steve!

On our way up to Altadina, I was able to stop by Speedtech R/C. That really made my day!!! Steve is really a great guy with a good business sense. Buy from Speedtech R/C!!!

After 4 days in San Diego, all I can say is that the weather is beautiful, but the TRAFFIC STINKS!!! I thought that traffic was bad in the Maryland, D.C., Virginia area. I think that it took us nearly 5 hours to get back to San Diego from Altadina. First I-210 was backed up for miles. Then I-15 was backed up even further.

Other than that, I'm enjoying time on the West Coast. Needless to say, we'll be spending the remaining days of our vacation close to La Mesa. Oops, I forgot... We head up to San Bernardino tomorrow!!!

It has been a pain in the butt trying to find parts/hop-ups for this car. What I'd like to know is how similar is this to the new MR4TC BD? Do they sport the same belt driven system? Will the parts/hop-ups from the new MR4TC BD work with my older MR4TC Special? Thanks for any info you guys can give. I'm not looking for any particular part for the car right now, I just know that eventually I'll probably need a new arm or shock tower as I will eventually crash the thing and break a part or two.
The older MR-4TCSP (which is the actualy model name) have similar parts with the MR-4BC (the 4WD off-road) so parts should still be available (it shares almost all components with the off-road with the exception of a few obvious like shock tower, longer arms, driveshafts...etc.)

If you have trouble locating parts, give me an email with a list of parts you're looking for: [email protected]

Good price but with shipping and then the wait for shipping to the US. That wouldn't be thiesable, the price would end up costing more than the US price which I believe will be around $390.00 and from what I am hearing we should have them by thusday. I will wait for Steve to get his in.
Great price though if you live in Japan or that side of the world.
Thanks fo rthe info.

I am thinking that you should email Steve and ask him what it should cost for shipping and what it would cost for Global three day...Then you work out the two totals and see what works best for you. I know one thing being a X mail man. The flights to the UK from the US are everyday and many times a day, so it shouldn't take more than a six days to get it global UPS since I believe it flys from the west to the east coast than on to the UK. SO really it should be quicker fromt the US. Every experience with Items from the far east to west coast takes more than a week so I couldn't amagine it taking any less going the other way to you.
SO now my over analasiss is over find your best deal....I will be banging down Steve's doors Wedsday....ooopss I don't want to scare his wife..LOL Just playin' Steve I'll call...LOL

Japan to the UK is normally a very fast route for airmail packages. Generally faster than the US to the UK as all US stuff seems to get stopped due to the great exchange rate we are getting in the UK.

Hi Jason,

I have the threads locked simply because it's getting too many to take care off effectively. So now we consolidate everything to our emails. Sometimes I get post that have questions in regards to emails received or order placed, however, the customers do not leave me enough information to trace the order (which makes it impossible to find the order with just a R/C Tech screen name) by consolidating everything to email, at least I have an email address to go by
