Thanks Barger, I know we get plenty of steering with a one-way but am trying to get just a little more steering with a spool.

Yeah I just read the Track Side race report. It looks like he has the
BD working good in carpet.

Congratulations on a good run.

Guys,

Do you know if the BD Masami Special comes with SDW arms or regular BD one ?
Also what spring colors are included in the BD MS kit ?

thanks,

Hi another question about springs, CML's website under BD Grainger edition says that the kit comes with Rayspeed green which is the same as HPI blue.
Everywhere I have looked it says RS green is 13.3LB and HPI blues are 15.3LB.
Anybody know whats going on?

Cheers

the HPI blues in question are 14 lb, so the two are quite close. But it may be something to do with length etc that makes them even more similar once on the car.

The HPI lb ratings are taken at full compression, and as they are progressive springs, they are softer at "earlier" compression. On the track, HPI blues feel like but RS greens but much nicer to drive, HPI silvers feel like RS blues etc..

Ady, get some HPI springs!!!!! Improved my BD no end! Well done at the stafford nat, I was BQ 2nd nat in a row!!!!

Hi,

@Sleighty: I wouldn't trust white springs anymore as the new Yokomo Long Type springs are all white... no matter what stiffness....

Cheers
Chris

Yup thats what they were! He also ran 400/350 oil (f/r), gold/silver roll bars and std front arms. Also with his modified steering rack and steering blocks, along with hpi c-hubs to gain more lock.

My car was awesome on Saturday running in the heat as the car was very aggresive but fast, but on the sunday when the grip was washed away (gay rain ) it wasn't quite there

Quick vid of it here:
