Hi,

perhaps your outdrives got damaged by the heat developed by the slipping diff.
The Yokomo screw is fitting very well, I don't have any problems with them. I just broke one after around a year.

Cheers
Chris

Does anyone have a problem with the center one-way locking up?
I run 12t mod and it locks after a run. I just replaced both the center shaft and the one-way last weekend for the nationals and after the weekend of racing the one-way is now clicking (which is what it did before the original locked up). I used EPO to oil the one-way before I installed it.

Default center one way

regarding the center one way, I too have found it locking up (stock rubber). I replaced mine with the center spool for the time being.

I felt it went out pretty early - only about 6 track days (and I did clean and lube it...)

I do have the same problem with the center one-way locking up. Don't know why it did that. But now I switch to direct drive, Car seems to accelerate faster. But I kept the front one-way though.

They're the UK importer for yokomo among other brands, your best bet would be to contact one of thier customers (hobby shops) in the UK and have it shipped that way. The standard BD would probably end up being a better deal if you're shipping it to the USA from the UK.

http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/pro...subMenu=CR-KIT has a list of the parts included that are not in the standard BD kit.

Hi,

I'm just back from racing and here are my experiences with the carpet chassis...
My first thoughts were: Where is my steering gone? The car had good corner speed but was pushing a lot. First, I tried different tires but nothing really worked so I changed rear toe-in to 2 degree, used softer springs and used the most outer hole on the A-arm in front (everything step by step and only one changing at a time) . The car was really good and carried a lot of corner speed. I was just missing a bit of steering in very tight corners. The solution was simple but effective: I removed the stiffener post in the rear and the push was nearly eliminated.
I have to try a few different things next time and see how it works. All in all the chassis works better for rubber tires then I expected.

Cheers
Chris

By the stifiner post do you mean the thing that supports the rear of the top deck?

And still wanting to know if anyone has a solution for the locking center one-way. Thanks!

haven't seen that happen, have been running a fixed center main gear with spool on asphalt and diff on carpet. Could it be the oil you've added?
