Anybody have a good setup for foam tires on a "CRC Carpet". First time I run the car on a 19T class on carpet. My BD is flying just put the fastest lap on the 19T class considering I'm the only car running yokomo BD a lot of the guys is running X-ray.

My car is currently setup for stock rubbers tires. Running a 19T class with rubber made the car tight on corners.

Please PM me I need a good Foam tires setup for my BD.

You know one now. I used the foam tape that came with the car and have had three batteries come out on me. I am now using thicker tape (about 6 times thicker and less dense) and it worked flawlessly today.

and where were you today, pops?

I don't like carpet, and it turned out to be a beautiful day out, so rather than spending the whole day stuck inside, decided to take a race day off.

When we ran 3300s we added shrink wrap and shoe-goo'd the cells together. I have always shoe-goo'd the cells first before soldering. I shoo-goo each pack and let them dry for an hour while sitting in the chassis. This way they fit the chassis perfectly.
I don't think you will have a problem with the 3700s or 3800s.

do you recommend wireing like that? The local fast guy has his rotated around 180 degress so the solder tabs are on the outside.

I sure do!!!!!

1. Less wire
2. the wires can be run between the two belts with no problems
3. to me, it just looks cleaner
