Thanks Barger,
Guess I won't try the spool, don't want to be chewing up gears.

I found the same with the steering, not enough so I played with the setup a little, changed my front toe out to 1 1/2 with a 1 degree camber (same camber in rear)
added a few grams of weights in the back to give her junk in the trunk
worked quite a bit better.
Currently trying to find the optimal spring combination for foam/carpet, any suggestions.

....what degree rear block are you running?
have you tried a 1 degree block rear....this will allow the car to transition a little better in the steering....or soften up the front springs by one....try the rear first see if that helps it out.

Spool could last longer in dusty or low traction situation.

My friends got the same problem like yours and he actually gave up using it after losing the chance in podium finish.

Have you try front ball diff ?

What's the difference when moving the steeringblock up in the C hub?
How much ride height and droop should I use on "low traction" carpet using rubber tires. I pretty much have the stock setup right now... Any other things I might try.

To correct myself. Actyally what's the difference when moving the C-hub up and the steering block down. It might be not possible to use the steering block up when the c-hub is also up....? Now I got everyone confused, did'nt I

More aggressive : move front upper link forward or mount it to king pin

Less aggressive : move front upper link backward or mount it in one of the four holes located behind king pin.

Ditto with length of upper link.

Longer link : less aggressive, wide corners, sweepers.
Shorter link : more aggressive, lots of medium to tight cornering, chichanes

Yokomo hasn't been in the mix too much lately (except for the 12L4Y) but since HPI w/the Cyclone (Hara & Surikarn Editions supposedly coming), X-Ray w/the T2 and Tamiya brewing up a few things... anyone 'heard' anything from the Yokomo camp?

do a search on this thread for "diff balls"

Others and myself have posted some extensive info on this subject.

With the quality and pure track speed of the BD and LCG, I sure hope yokomo aren't planning a new onroad car yet - i doubt they'll seriously do anything for another 12 months. At least thats what I hope anyway, I cant buy a new car too often

They do have a new 4wd off-roader due in the next month or so, that would be thier focus at the moment

By looking at the new Buggy, It looks like the BD with the motor moved to the middle of the chassis. Do you guys think this will be the next chassis for their next TC car? . Since TAMIYA have this configuration on the TA05.

Its got a 3+3 saddle pack too, I dont see them replacing a successful car like the BD with it.

OK guys I don't know what to get? I have a good deal on a SD world edition but I don't know if the 3800 will fit on the chassis, And I'm also thinking to just to get the LCG converion for my SD.

What car handles better?
