ChadCapece, have you found those cone washers on the top deck have stopped tweak getting into the car? I've found that loosening and retightening the top deck between rounds stops tweak being a problem.

I had some tweak in a heat last week, then put on the cone washers and it wasn't tweaked, so I guess it helped. I also put 1 silicone o-ring under each washer above the steering post. That def. should help to keep from tweaking.

My car has been completely tweak free since using cone/countersunk washers on the top deck and in other places and also by using tape instead of the battery bar.

Cool, just watch out people, some of these cone washers are very overpriced (at least they are over here in the UK for most people). I use fastrax ones, cost me 3 (about $5/6) for 25, that should be enough!

I got ripped off . I paid 9usd for 15 washers. That was after I paid 3usd for 6 from speedtechrc.com

These cone washers are still no way near as good as countersinking the holes on the top deck or shock towers. All they do is increase the surface area a little. The screw can still move in the hole, and thats what creates the tweak isnt it? When the actual hole is countersunk, the top deck cannot move at all if the screw is tight.
