i have also seen the exact same with speedtech spool, again my imagination ?

dont get me wrong, the tir spools are grate, apart from they dont last long with any crashes, especially indoors!

but i do run tir worlds cvds and they are grate

Default fragile steering rack plate?

Had my new BD on the track for the first time. ran very good outta the box (stock rubber).

I did have one problem. The carbon steering rack broke, quite easily. It cracked right where the ball stud for the steering linkage is attached.

I've already contacted Speedtech and Yokomo direct, neither have them instock.

Given how easily it broke, I'm not exactly excited to replace it with the same part. I do not know any other options here. Does anyone else?

Maybe it was a freak think. I'm interested to know if others have found this part to be fragile.

Pretty sure they're 20 tooth and the center are 10, hence the 2.0 internal drive ratio

huh? I think there are more than 20 teeth on the front or belt. The diff gears have 40teeth alone.

You could try sealing the edges of the new part with CA when you get it. That may help to make it stronger.

Default just a thought

has anyone tried placing the aluminum steering plate from the Yok LCG..
i'm going to try in the next few days...
was thinking of putting the pivot ball for the servo ball cup in the closest bearing screw down..

the LCG's steering plate is and exact fit to the BD's steering bell cranks..
just have to figure out how to place the servo's ball cup into an accurate position as to not lose any servo throw leverage.

any ideas anyone?

It may be more expensive but you could also buy two and put two on if you wish? I think that would work
