You can use the short front arm but not with the SDW front arm mount together. Those mounts will not fit. The short arms(with standard BD mounts) will narrow the front track by 4mm(185mm). You can use some 1mm spacer on the wheel hubs to widen the front track a bit. This works well on some tracks for me. But most of the time, standard arms work better.

Does anyone have a part number for the full set of swaybars that come on the BD?

Kit swaybars are OK but I went to race 27t stock on carpet with foams last night and would have liked some that were a little stiffer

Btw, the car was instantly quicker than my old CGM by about half a lap with a less than perfect setup - probly would have gone quicker if i'd bothered to put brushes in that were still serrated

what the other guys said was true about the sdw arms on a bd, but measuring and eyeballing it, it looks like the sdw rear front mount will bolt to the bd chassis in place of the split mounts. problem is the belts in the way, now one could dremel away some material so the belt goes under the mount, but i'm not comfortable with that so i haven't try it. by doing the above modification it will swept the arms forward, what this does to handling is someone elses' guess. i know one of you are brave enough to try it, let me know how it works.

zombie, are those mips, the axles with dogbones or just the axles. same question for the stock axles.

The Team SUZUKI ones are the best in quality, however they have temporarily stopped production bec they are busy making the aluminum parts for the BD and LCG!!
Maybe at the end of the year the Knuckles will be out again!

There are other manufacturers who make aluminum knuckles for the SD/BD but nat as good.

Just been looking on Speedtech and is this the mount that you say the belt will hit?

SDW front rear mount

It looks like it has a lowered bit, but i may be wrong.

The mounting holes of the SDW front rear mount are about 1-1.5mm too wide for the BD split mount holes, you will have to be very creative to fit it on the BD, I fail. But you can try.

well then i guess i was wrong, i measured from the center of the screw on both chassis, i must have been just a hair off.

and yes that is the mount, if you look at where the mount would be and look at where the belt runs i think it might hit. there is one other option and i'm not sure anyone wants to try this, you could take that mount and cut the ends off and then you could use either hole for the split mounts. but once again, this would be for one of you brave souls. also instead of cutting a alum mount you could probably use a old plastic one from the sd.

Look back in this thread a few pages, I think it was Matt or Pops that said Yokomo released (or were going to release) new suspension mounts for the BD, one that was specifically made higher so that the belt would run underneath without hitting and the other that was made lower so the belt would go over the top.

Does anyone have the part number for the new steering bellcrank that replaces the kit supplied unit? The kit unit rubs on the belt..

Im looking at putting the short arms from the SDW on the BD. So i need the suspension mounts that are wider than the kit ones on the front so i can run the short arms and still have the correct width at the front.
