I have looked over the pictures of this new BD car and have found some very interesting things.
It appears to be using the same hub carriers and steering arms.
Plus those shock towers look to be able to put those wonderful rayspeed's right over from the SD/CGM.
Also the bumper and front body mounts are the same as the SD so right there you will have your spares.
Arms should be right behind the anitial kit sales.
First thing I will buy is the extra large front bumper...You know the wider version that is on the SD.
You know We have almost the same electronics....You should try the SX12 man is small and very programable.
I just ordered a second one for the BD I already have a Airtronics 93457 with the aluminum upgrade case for steering and a brand new Spektrum receiver sitting and waiting to be installed.
I also have a new AMB for the new ride as well.
Not sure if I will keep the 93457 or buy another 2343 I like it alot in the SD though.
Maybe if Steve gets in the 2363 or whatever the KoPropo aluminum case equivilant is to the 2343 in blue aluminum of coarse, I will pick one of those up.
I hope that Yokomo will put out there own Ti screw kits like they did for the SD man those are great plus they only ran like $35.00.
I bet there is a ton of stuff getting ready to be released.

Hi Shookie:

yeah... i agree.... the wide front bumper is a must buy for the yokomo kits.
i have broke few arms before using the wide front bumper.
hehee.. i was gonna get the GM SX12 to replace my old keyence a07.
but some how my triggy finger press the buy bottom too fast.
so i got a novak GTX instead. well.. it is all good~

Edit:
Btw. hows the spektrum running on the helio? thinking
of getting it as i don't want to buy another set of rx and cristal.
do you recommand it?

By far the best & Must have produst to hit RC this year or the last five....
I love mine and would fully recommend.
Just justify it like this...
I brand new Reciever for the Helios is $90.00 plus two -three sets of crystals even the cheap ones $45.00. Well that is a total of $135.00 the spektrum is $159.99 so for the cost of two more sets of crystals you get a system that will change the way you RC forever. Plus new receivers are only $70.00 so you will save $20.00 per receiver when you finally upgrade all your cars.
I have one receiver in my B4 and my SD I have a new one waiting and I am keeping all my recievers that I have for my Kyosho Mini Buggy that should be out soon.
Knwo anyone who wants a fully upgraded 18T?
It has everything upgraded and I mean everything.
CF chassis alum motor with a fan attachment.
CVD's
FT all over.
Let me know I want to get $250
Thanks,
Stephen <><

I'm pretty sure the shock towers from the SD will not be able to be used on the BD due to the way they mount on the bulkheads. The suspension is the same as the SD so you will have no problems getting arms, castor blocks, steering blocks, or rear hub carriers since they're already available.

I was going to just put in the 2343 but I thought "Well for only $10.00 more I can get the heat sink on the 2363".....Gotta have the bling factor....Besides its the same servo. Airtronics charges almost $25 for their heatsink upgrade.

For those wondering the internal ratio of the new car is 2.0 We're not 100% sure if the car is coming with the shorter front arms like on the SDW or the standard arms like on the regular SD. And for those of you wondering what ESC to put in the car the Yokomo and Rayspeed versions of the KO speedcontrol just arrived at Yokomo USA

I know that the prototype has a front one-way and I imagine that Yokomo will offer a ball diff! Do you know if Yokomo will offer it at the same time of the kit?

It will be nice to have an answer because that will make the difference if I cancel or not my pre-order. (because I race on carpet with foam)

I was told the rear diff can be used in the front, you'll need to order all the peices but it will be available.

You know I was going to get the Masami one but my SX12 rocks, I already have the tuner for it (the GM Commander) so I don't need to spend another $70 for the ESC tuner for the Ko one...Although I was right there about to buy the Masami one though....Flipped a coin...Sorry KO you know I love ya...2343,2363 and Helios...Need I say how I feel about KO...LOL
Anyhow that one for Rayspeed looks very interesting, probably the choice for the stock or 19T guys...I think I would have a hard time re-tuning the Masami version...another reason why I went with the GM SX12....For those who don;t know about the SX12 go look in Masami's 12th scale that one the worlds championship...Yup that is the one..heck here is the link..
