I heard that the car is doing VERY well in prototype testing so far. Lots of steering and lots of traction are the findings so far. The rear diff "might" be interchangeable to the front, we won't know until the final spec cars are released. If I had to guess I would say yes, but we'll see.

Yokomo shocks are great, I've been running the same shocks with only 1 oil change for the last 2 years. They do not leak and they do not get contaminated. They are by far the best shocks I've used.

Talking

I just came from Speedtech and briefly talked to Steve... topic of conversation was really interesting!?

It seems that Yokomo is one of the faster companies to release a new chassis after it has been first announced. It only usually takes a month for potential buyers to see the finished product on the shelves which is really good for us consumers.

With that said, I wonder how companies like Yokomo did their R & D especially with this new belt drive? I know their engineers have lots of racing experience, but still looking at how other companies are doing it (race the chassis first to prove its potential), I'm really interested to know how Yokomo does their testing... and how so secretive... Heck the HB Prototype was a real surprise, but we all know we won't be seeing that car for months... All in all, I really love how Yokomo plays their marketing game...

It`s called Yatabe Arena... after hours... and since that place is out in the middle of nomansland testing can be done very easy without every Tom ,Dick and Harry knowing about it

Right first time Dave !!!!!!!!

I wonder how many hours a day Masami spends there.

I've just read the news of David Spashett's move to Tamiya, making this a very strong team indeed, but I still don't rule Masami out of the next Worlds.

Just one question here. How long will it be before Masami joins his Dad's growing company.

Have a look at the attached pic. The grey one in the middle is yours truely, and you'll all recognise the other two. It was taken at the Nuremburg fair just a couple of weeks ago. I will be handling their business in Malta.
