Thanks Shookie, I'll check on that. How much are those faceplates anyway? I also want to get one for my R-1 and my ott-lite.

I don't remember what he charged me for it. It is also coupled with a motor working stand that he does and he is going to do my power supply also so I won't know right away. he is very reasonable...funny thing is when I emailed him and ask how much, he replied exacptly what I was thinking...a good deal for sure.
Your best bet is to email him.
I know if you buy more than one or adda motor workign stand or a pit board or what ever he will cut you a deal.
Also have a picture of your car body or a real good idea of what you want on the faceplate. He usally answers email pretty quickly.

A charger that should work great and you can find priced really good would be the much more cell master. I'm actually thinking about selling my Futaba CDR-5000 and getting a couple of those instead.

Randy, I looked into those and I couldn't find them and so I got the Orion. My best friend and racing buddy Chuckles is going to run those though. I saw them at the RCX show and Much more had some nice stuff. I think I am going to get their discharge tray. either that one or the Integy zery thirty.

If only the Advantage didnt look like a kids toy telephone......

I love the features of the Advantage but the Cell Master looks far more sturdy.

I know its whats on the inside that counts but.

Pheyhoe-Looks are always a big deal and I don't hate or love the look of the Advantage but I will have a faceplate made, so that'll look better and I am going to dye the buttons too.

Randy- is the Spintec a tray? I should look into that. Do you have a link?

Shookie- Thanks for telling me about the charger on ebay. I am going to LA this weekend to get it.

The spintec is not a tray, check out the info here http://www.spintec.nl/ Best discharger I have used to date. Horizon got their first shipment of them in not long ago if I remember right.

For a discharger there is non better in my opinion.
I have two because I like to put my packs right on it right after a run.
Helps every aspect of your packs...Voltage, IR capacity. I just can not wiat till there charger comes out....Individule Cell Charger....Yup that shoudl help alot too. But have to wait two three more months...
Keep your eyes peeled in the pits...You will be seeing everyone using these dischargers now that Horizon is carrying them.

Chris I don't use the Trinity dyno. I have a APS and I see 9.2-10.4Amp @ 2volts. That makes for a great stock motor.
At least that is what I have found.

Alright, I went to the website. Looks cool. So do you still put the batteries on a tray afterward?

okay, I have a few more questions (I should be getting my BD in a few days)

what wt oil would you recommend for a roadcourse (the track in Ripon)? (carpet doesnt start untill october, so I guess I will just have to run it outside a little)

does the BD come with a center spool or a center one way?

are the wheels that come with the BD any good?

has anyone experimented with cutting every-other tooth off the front or rear belt on top of soaking it in WD-40, or does soaking it free it up enough?
