I will eventually, right now with my limited racing opportunities I don't have a need for it. When I get back to the states I'll have an LCG and my BD ready to go. The LCG "should" have even better performance than the SDW and be easier to maintain since it uses bulkheads accesable like the BD's are so it will be a killer shaft drive car.

Here's your Rayspeed spring rates
Rayspeed
Spring Rating [lb/in]
Gray 19.90
Red 18.26
White 17.17
Yellow 14.87
Blue 14.29
Green 13.20

The BD is pretty much universally know to be a very smooth handling car with lots of corner speed but sometimes lacking a bit of turn in steering with the kit setup.

I don't work on helos, I fly in them. I am an aircrewman stationed at HSL-45. I like my job though, no ill feelings for the Navy. Not many people can say they have shot a .50 machine gun with NVG's or used FLIR imaging to shoot missiles or even had time tracking chinese submarines. It has been fun in the military and a part of me will miss it. Stopped by Socal and got my dogbone and titanium screws and a new charger. Almost got all my gear together. I took my car in to show Slim and was getting compliments the whole time. Kinda cool. Couple Xray guys were hating, but whatever. I am getting pretty anxious to race now.

Talking

Well after a holiday trip to Hong Kong and Thailand, I have finally had a chance to give my BD a run Friday night and today.
What an awesome car Ran last night on an old set of 28 rubbers that my previous Pro 4 hated in 12'c (41'F) temp, and it went great with the stock set up, today I ran on foam at an out door meeting and the car was on rails. The main changes was to shorten the wheel base 2mm, 2' rear toe block, lengthen the shocks to 62mm, 20lb springs all round and no sway bars and there is still more corner speed to come from it. This car is so rock solid stable its unbelievable.

After 5 years of racing X Rays, this car is of equal quality to assemble, then the shocks blow all the other brands others away with how smooth they are, and performs it better from kit setup then any of the other cars I have driven.
I then had to put up with all the new friends you aquire wanting to have a look at this piece of art work. (makes it hard to clean it between heats)

Has anyone one notice how the MR4TC-BD makes Tamiyas look PALE

Now that you mention that.....Blue is the fastest color....
Seems Yokomo is the deepest and brightest...Guess Tamyia needs a face lift....Well at least easier to work on car....Man I can change from a one way to spool and change the center one way to locked diff in about five minutes...My brother in law takes a half hour just to get his diff out...LOL

I think Yokomo is on to something....No more sanding CF for batts to fit., no more hours of maintanance (unless you want to), Ultra percision build, & Outstanding quality.....Man even Xray is going to have to step it up a notch....
Have you seen the LCG conversion for the SD....It is the BD version of a shaft....(teary eyed)THANKS YOKOMO...LOL
