I also notice that the bd has a 1mm spacer on all the hingeblock. If anyone here could please tell me what does removing this spacer affectively does to the handling of the car, it would be most appreciated.

the spacers that raise up the lower arms should give you more traction.

I just use the tip of an X-Acto to push the pin through, but I dont push it all the way out, leave it hanging in one side of the hex so you can get the hex off the axle, but when you go to reassemble, just push the pin back in without hassling with the o-ring.

raises and lowers roll center if you remove/add all 4 (front or rear) at once.

front suspension only: more shims at front is kick-up
more shims at rear is anti-dive

rear suspension only: more shims at front is anti-squat
more shims at rear is pro-squat

Pops lent me the Yokc27 last weekend in stock and with the field falling back on TOcs22's, they had enough traction to get the car tipping thru the turns....way good tires....I need to try them on my BD next.

I'll be at the Holiday Inn as well, we'll have to hang out this time around. I'll be up there all week, practice at Hesperia on Tues, SoCal practice on Wed, and then it's off to Tamiya.

Yes they are pretty good, but may be easy to overheat. I put 4 1/4 holes in the rims to keep them cooler. You must use a very thin insert like Sorex C-Firm or the super thin Yokomo Firm inserts ZR-039F. They are pretty good all around tires.

Just talked to Billy Bowerman at Sorex USA. The shipment of Sorex 36s are coming in next week from Sorex. The dry spell is over.
