What was really cool from Masami and the Yokomo Japan camp was that they posted their setup for everyone to see (including other racers) on the post behind their pit. So if you need a very good baseline for setup, it's right there don't know if they are going to do that again this year though

Rob, that would be cool. Yeah, kit setup is about the best so far. Even though I have fastest lap with a spool. Anyways, changes would be goin from 3degrees to 2deg rear toe. Maybe even down to 1 deg. I ran 40wt/30wt on mine and Jairo ran 30wt/30wt. I ran my front shock mounted all the way in on the arm. Jairo ran his all the way out. Droop was 6/5 for me. I think Jairo was about 6/5 or 7/5. Not sure. If you can break into the 20' sec lap times in Stock, you are doin good.

For Ceramics Bearings there are two kits out right now
Acer racing has them with rubber seals for $99.99
Boca has them with metel sheild for $165.00
I have the Boca and once i cleaned out the heavy grease they are ultra smooth.
The Acers take a good long time to break in the seals...I know this from my SD with Acer's
Hope this helps,
Stephen <><

you could make it fit... but you'd have to shave off some material from the carbon fiber bulk head brace... some guys have been using the 120 spur, and don't have any problems with it.

Anyways, they look as though they will clear TC3/4 dogbones for those who are interested. Only like $16 for the knuckles. They are also stock offset (1mm trailing). I'll take photos once they are installed tonight...

interesting, let us know as soon as you tried them out... since i'hv been using the TC4 bones, i switched back to the stock knuckles, which BTW, i also had to grind down a bit...

That would be a really dialed way to start off

Yes it is, he had his setup posted after a couple rounds of practice. After my car sucked really bad I went over and copied it and was much better. Masami is one of the nicest racers out there, and speaks pretty good english as well.

highwayman, they are on the car right now. Just been too lazy to snap a picture. Too many naps! hehe. Plus StarWars is out at the movies now.. Muh hahahaha.... I will say the kingpin and top ball screws fit really tight. Plus they are make with a left spindle and right spindle due to their design. I ended up switching left for right and right to left. Once again due to their design and the fact that I run my steering links on the bottom instead of on top. But like I said before, these spindles are pretty thin. I'd rather have the Team Suzuki ones (although they are .5mm trailing, not 1mm).

Yeah, can't wait to see Masami's Reedy Race setup. I've had pretty good luck with that setup out here. Tweeked alittle of course. But it was a good starting point for a spool... Can't wait!!

KilRuf : i have the Team Suzuki ones but the TC4 bones doesn't fit them... what do you mean by ".5mm trailing, not 1mm" thanks... i always thought that the suzuki ones are the same as the stock ones...
