Just thought I'd share some pictures of our Local Racing scene! It was held last sunday at the our largest track, too bad races are only run there every couple of months, its quite far from the metro.

It's roasted out here that's why the grass are not green. Look at the Pictures!!!

Oh, a BD won in this race!!!

Wouldn't it make the CG go up and add to the rotating mass?
Just curious as to why.
Please let me know.

The CG won't change with a bigger spur but since you'll have to run a bigger pinion in combination with the bigger spur the motor itself will be moved forward a bit altering the weight balance more to the front.

Default BD CARPET CHASSIS

Well, I finally got the chassis charted and drawn. There are a few minor changes I made to increase stiffness. As well as eliminating the giant hole and chamfer for the outer servo mount and replacing it with a counterbored slot. I am also doing an upper deck and will have drawings up soon. I am cutting these from .125"[3.2mm] material. They should be really stiff. I would like to thank RC Zombies for sending me his chassis plate and upper deck. I am interested in hearing everyones thoughts. I will be selling these for $70.00 shipped for the plate and upper deck.

Please let me know if anyone is interested.
Chris

Well I just got some aluminum steering knuckles from PrecisionRC in Hong Kong. The steering arm is pretty thin. So I'm not sure if they will be that durable compared to the ever so ellusive Team Suzuki aluminum steering knuckles. Anyways, they look as though they will clear TC3/4 dogbones for those who are interested. Only like $16 for the knuckles. They are also stock offset (1mm trailing). I'll take photos once they are installed tonight...

I don't remember anyone running into any problems when building their BD, just build it by the instructions and enjoy. The car is very stable on the track, sometimes people see this as being slow but when they look at their laptimes the car is turning really quick times, don't be fooled by a well handling car
