i've finally decided to go ahead and jump on the bd and have one one its way. while i tried to keep up with this thread is there anything i need to be aware of that i may have missed. i got the one about trimming something off the center drive. and is the reason most of you seem to be wanting to get rid of the center one way and front one way for the reedy race where it isn't allowed. this will be a pavement car btw. mod only, going to use the sdw for 19 or stock racing.

the BD goes together real nice. I didn't have to use any shims on the diffs, that's pretty much the only thing that didn't build exactly as the directions say.

Just got my Yokomo BD spool in today. Comes with everything you need for $15. 1 Pulley, 1 spool, 3 screws, and 2 outdrive aluminum cups.

John's BD looked really good yesterday. He was definately one of the fast cars all day long. Pics should be posted of yesterdays race in the next couple of days.

Jimmy Mac,

It was good getting to run with you guys this weekend. I wish I had a little more time with the car so I could have ran 19t with everyone else. By the end of the day the car was starting to feel pretty good, until the wheel fell off.

Randy, it's the one made by Yokomo BD-501SAS. I'll test it out this weekend. I might have a chance to test during the week as well.

Rob, yeah the Yokomo's looked good in Stock class. I should have run stock. I think my car would have been hooked up in that class. I think 19t might be a tad too much for the car. Oh course where you stand on the drivers stand plays a huge key at that track hehe. I didn't get a good spot til the mains hehe. Anyways, if I find pulley, I'll let ya know.
