Default Chassis, pinion and spurs....Oh my!

Hello, question is what is a good variety of pinion and spurs to have for indoor on road carpet track.
Running 21.5 touring, eventually GT12, and USGT
Been out of the game for a while and coming back... last car owned was a tc4 back when it was introduced.
Currently in the process of purchasing stuff to begin running again...chassis not purchased as of yet.
Looking for inputs on chassis also... part/support, durability...etc
Any input will be appreciated.
xpress, xray, awsomatix, tamiya
Touring, usgt

xray or crc
gt12
