I like this tool. I wish they'd add some more intricate turn options for 45* and 22.5* short radius angles, some shorter radius back to back with wider radium turn tiles and pre made chicanes for full indoor layouts. I'm having fun with it though.

This is the layout I ran this weekend. It is a parking lot track.

Ha guys we are looking at redesigning
your local club

I will post some pics later of our currant
layouts

What I was woundering is what people
are using for crubbing and surroundings
for there tracks

We currantly use a combination of wood
and PVC pipping but were are looking for
something more forgiven

Default Making a Track.......

I've been reading through alot of threads about making a indoor track.I see the design and there awsome,I also read about barracades and what not to make barracades out of.But there really is no info on the racing surface.I can see that many like carpet.I have done alot of outdoor dirt and parking lot goofin off/racing.I always though that carpet and rubber tires don't really work.I was trying to get all the info I can,I'm going to try to make an indoor track.I did some measuring and was thinking about maybe 70-75 by 30-35 feet.It aint bad,but I have a pretty good list of materials for the stand, the barricades, corners and stuff, but really am confused about the racing surface.I would like to do concrete like a parking lot but see alot of carpet....what the best or easiest to maintain and prepare? best for the cars?
