Default Ofna JL 10GT as a Rally

I was considering purchasing the JL 10GT roller, and converting it to a rally car. First let me state that I don't have the $$$ to buy a Tamiya DF 03r a, so please don't say buy it.

I don't plan on racing, or doing a ton of crazy stuff with this car, IE, put a huge motor in it and try to break land speed records. I built a rally course out behind my camper, and am just looking to have some fun with it. I have a HPI Sprint 2 and an Ofna JL 10e, but belt drive cars and off road don't mix, so I figured converting a shaft drive car would be the best avenue, seeing how money is a little tight, and the JL 10 GT is very reasonably priced.

Anyone have any experience with this chassis? I have rally tires, and buggy shocks. I also know about the drooper screw. Anything else I should be aware of?
