I've seen some low friction belts by Excel on RCMARKET before. I was curious if they fit the car with 16t center pulleys or 18t center pulleys??? Thanks!!!

Hi ,

Could anyone please give me a good gear ratio with a nosram 3.5 with 5 cell mod racing ?
The tracks are medium , and the other track is a bit tighter , so could you advice me on a good ratio please, i know i went on the tighter track and i had a FRD of 9.4 and the motor temp was quite good if i would have gone higher it would have been fine .
But when i went on the medium track , i had a FDR of 9.4 and the motor was hot . so i went to a smaller pinion ( 28 to 27) and i didnt see any difference , then i went to a bigger pinion (27 to 30 and it didnt do any difference , it even made the motor a tiny hoter .
So i dont know what i should do ?
They are both carpet tracks , and the tighter track is only a tiny different then the medium track so i dont get the temp probleme .
Im running the world kit with the 16t pulley .

thanks for any help guys .

On a flowing track yes. On a tigh track I would possibly be somewhere closer to 9.0FDR

Hi Darrell,

I just like to check with you if your Cyclone TC handles normally after you shaved off 1.5 mm from the alum mount.

Also, I like to confirm that after shaving off 1.5 mm, IP 5000 30C lipo could fit nicely, and the alum part is not touching the top of the lipo battery at all.

Meaning the alum mount's thickness should be approx 2.5 mm now, since it was originally approx 4 mm.

I am thinking of getting the same IP 5000 30C lipo to test as well. I just like to ensure that it could fit my car properly. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much.

The guys at the 416 thread are posting pictures of their ride, why don't we do the same?

I'm still trying to find a weight plate suitable for the TC using IP3800 35C.
