Default Cyclone carpet monster??

OK, I've seen the pics and I've gotta have one! Anybody know where and when the carpet chassis set is going to be available from hot bodies? The Cyclone will be the schizz on the rug with that bad boy!

OK-OK!

Peter point me to the "it" set-up for asphalt like we had for the JRXS. Also which titanium screw set is the choice for this car?

Howdy Brant...
Let me firstly assure you.. I am in no way a setup guru, so please take this setup with that understanding...

Front:
Camber: 1.5 deg
Castor: 4 deg
Ride Height: 5.0mm
Droop: 5.0mm
Front Drive: Spool
Stabiliser: 1.4mm
Toe Angle: 1 deg
Top Shock Location: 3
Bottom Shock Location: 1
Inner Camber Link location: 1
Inner Camber Link Spacers: 2.0mm
Front Bottom Roll Centre Spacers: 1.5mm
Rear Bottom Roll Centre Spacers: 1.5mm
Pivot Block: 2.5
Ackerman: 4.0mm
Shock Piston: 3 x 1.1mm
Shock Oil: 40wt
Shock Spring: Pink
Shock Foam: none
Shock Rebound: none

Rear:
Camber: 1.5 deg
Ride Height: 5.5mm
Droop: 5.0mm
Stabiliser: 1.2mm
Toe Angle: 1 deg
Top Shock Location: 3
Bottom Shock Location: 2
Inner Camber Link location: 1
Inner Camber Link Spacers: 1.5mm
Outer Camber Link Spacers: 0.0mm
Front Bottom Roll Centre Spacers: 1.5mm
Rear Bottom Roll Centre Spacers: 1.5mm
Pivot Block: 3.0
Shock Piston: 3 x 1.1mm
Shock Oil: 40wt
Shock Spring: Silver
Shock Foam: none
Shock Rebound: none

Bolt on whatever tyre/insert/rim that works locally and usually use the Mazda 6 or Speed 6. I usually take this setup with me everywhere and start tuning the car in with the shocks first by changing the piston and fluid, eg. Tamiya 3 x 1.0mm or HB 2 x 1.2mm and fluid by 30wt up to 45wt. Then juggle the Droop, and Ride Height before going to anything else on the car.

For the Titanium Screws; the "Square RC" screws have been very tough and reliable for me... Part #: SHB-52… for about 3,780Yen.

Hope this helps...
Regards,
Peter

I cant find it, but I know I saw something about using a 2.6 mm (I think) screw from HB

What was the screw? And what thrust washers, balls do I use?

Also, do xray knuckles, and or c hubs fit the cyclone? Are they any stronger?

Thanks

Frontline Hobbies

Champ RC website is ordinary, but just email them with the bits you want and they will get back to you within 2 or 3 days... (Monday's: they are closed)

PS> they understand and reply in english so there's no problems there either.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
Peter

Need your help fellas:

Need 3 hole pistons for my WCE Cyclone shocks. Anyone know is the serpent S400 pistons work on the Cyclone Shocks or maybe Tamiya TRF 415 pistons?

I really need some 3 hole pistons...maybe Schumacher MI3 pistons?

Help!!!

Im sorta wondering the same thing, because I break knuckles and C hubs alot lol, its the right hit, and its not hard or anything, but it blows up the C hub, and knuckle

Its just if I go all alu, then wont that stuff bend, and break ball studs?
