The thin spool/1way pulleys are for units with 4 holes where the wide ones are for the black cyclone with 3 holes.

Tez,

Ok that sounds fair,

If you post the setup you tried and the problems you were having I'm sure Ill be able to help, if not someone else.

Also what tyres were you running?

Cheers,

Phil

For a narrow pulley on a black old pattern 1way unit, use a narrow rear diff pulley.

This is a question mainly for Jason from BMI, but anybody can answer it if they can. I am thinking of getting on Cyclone, I have never ran one but I know that I want to get the BMI kit for it. I have used Jason's products before and know they are awesome. Where can I get a picture of a BMI Cyclone, what all is included? Chassis, Shock Towers, and the Upper Decks. What are the thickness of them, and most of all what is the price of the complete kit. I have check the BMI website and it doesn't have any pictures of the Clone on there.

Also where, if any, set-up sheats for it. Mainly Larry Fairtrace and Jason Sheflers (sp?) from the 'Birds.

Thanks

It comes with bottom plate, both top decks, shock towers, and stand-offs (with mounting hardware). All is 3mm satin finish CF and the stand-offs are aluminum. Best bet is to call the shop and they will fill you in on all the pricing and shipping info.

If you want a surikarn your gonna have to buy used, all the new ones have been gone for almost 6 months.

Or you can get a black one for 200 bones.

That is the route I'm going. After watching Larry and Jason at the 'Birds it kinda peaked my interest in the car. Of course the 200 for one NIB you can't beat that.

...is there anything "Special" I should get for my Clone as I build it? Other than the BMI kit. I have been reading about the diff screw problem. Are Corally Spring the Springs of choice? or are HPI PRo4 spring being used also?

Hi,

1.5deg front sweep
hole 1 2.5mm under top link
1.5mm under lower arm front and rear
4mm ackerman
1.5 deg camber
4deg caster
5.5mm ride height
droop/ 4 all round
front spool
fixed centre
-2 camber

rear
50wt [email protected]
silver springs
hole 3 on tower
middle hole on lower arm
3deg toe

As i said the car was really good everywhere other than a slow speed chicane where it seemed that the front would dig in to much or the rear was loose, not sure which.

any advice would be a real help. Thanks!!
