It of course was a bit slower then the fully blown kits but that is to be expected given the price tag. I would probably look at a front oneway on the car for 19turn or slower speeds. The ball diff is okay, but not ideal by any stretch for most racing outdoors.

If you can wait on one, then Stormer Hobbies should have them in sometime in the near furture. Just go to their website, look up the car and click on the link that will ask you if you want to be notified when they are in stock.

Yeah, stormer has the one with no body. For ten bucks more I can get the one with the body though. From my understanding it is a good quality body too.

So far Stormer is the only source of the Cyclone S in the states, or did Steve at Speedtech get some?

Does it come with good tires or regular non reinforced tires? Body I'm sure is basic protoform stuff right? I'm really tempted to get one since it fits my less than 200US per kit budget. Obviously better than the hpi sprint series.

Haven't tried the tires yet. Feels like regular old style foam inserts not molded. They are pre glued and use a different style rim that is HB specific. I have heard the car works very well right out of the box. The outdrives on the diffs are sized for ver.2 size dogbones/cvd shafts, but the diffs also come with small firm foam inserts that go inside the diff outdrives to properly space the dogbones so you don't necessarily have to go with cvd's right off the bat. This car retalis for alot less than anything else in its class on the market and just generally has really good "bones" ie. lots of potrential right from the box.

Hello all,

Our carpet season is fast approaching and I’ve just been trying to find Hara’s base setup for rubber on carpet. It used to be on the HB website but I can’t find it anymore. Anyone got any links? Or a good base setup for non-superhero drivers?

Cheers Ears

Thats awesome. Their parts express deal is nice. I just got a few things and it was 3 bucks shipping.
