Jolly, where are you finding the setups on the HB site? HB officially has the worse website in the industry. Its been half completed for months, no instruction manuals, no setups and only a partially list of parts with part#'s.

Go to the HPI/HB website in Japan. You have to navigate around it as its all in Japanese, but they have all of their team driver's setups there. If you want instruction manuals, you'll need to go to the HB Europe site and d/l from there. Hope this helps.

US spec spool has the aluminum outdrive cups.
World spec has the Delrin cups.

yakuza ... one other thing to look at is the angle of the shocks in conjuction to the piston and oil. if they are standing up they should feel stiff and if laid down should feel soft. one important thing to remember is what may work at one track may not work at another ... just experiment, trust me the more you try new or different things the more you'll know and changing these things will become quicker. try everything!

Hi Sonic, last night i ran my car on a high speed track, with 35wt in front, 30wt at rear, front white spring and gold rear spring, but i changed the droop to 5.5 all round, running on spool... very easy to enter corners when off power... this is the best setup for me so far..

yes, you're right, it might not work on MICKEY MOUSE track, but i'm really bad at setting up the car, i might need your help next time... currently, the front shocks position are on the second hole from the bottom, and rear are on the middle hole. Seems fine on high speed track...
