Is there any parts off the newer Cyclones that will work on the Cyclone S ?

Any recommended upgrades to the S version ?

thanks
Depending on the class, a spool upfront.

But if you throw in a spool or one-way you will need to upgrade the center pulleys and lay shaft. The plastic pulleys will strip very easily.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT TWO CYCLONE TC'S FROM A GUY AND THE FIRST DAY I WENT RACING I BROKE THE SERVO SAVE TUBE WHICH IS FINE SO I ORDERED ANOTHER ONE BUT WHEN I WENT TO SWITCH IT OUT THE GUY GLUED THE INNER TUBE INTO IT.. SO I AM HOPING THAT SOME ONE HAS JUST THE SMALL INNER TUBE THEY WILL PART WITH I REALLY JUST DONT HAVE THE EXTRA MONEY LATING TO SPEND ON EXTRA PARTS I REALLY DONT NEED.. I DONT NEED THE SERVO SAVER OR THE SPACERS ALL I NEED IS THAT SMALL INNER TUBE.. I ATTACHED A PIC BELOW SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT SINCE I PROBABLY DIDNT DESCRIBE EVERYTHING PROPERLY AND I AM SURE I DIDNT CALL THE PARTS BY THERE CORRECT NAME..

Errr good luck getting free parts....

Not sure what you are talking about but if you had problems getting the shims and bearings off its more than likely because you bent the shaft as opposed to someone gluing them to it.

Default steering

try getting the Cyclone S verion of the part...
the bar is silver in color and is about a third of the price.

go to Hot Bodies web site and pull manual for Cyclone S...for part number....then find who has it in stock.

Default gear diff

I am looking to replace the spool in my Cyclone with a spec R gear diff. Which option is best. Yokomo style or Tamiya? Belts and rear diff pullies need replaced but anything else. front axels?

I have an Original cyclone with 18t center pullies now.

Default widen a cyclone?

what would be the best way to widen a cyclone to around 200mm? I'm going to use it in VTA and the body I chose needs the wheels to be further pushed out to fit properly in the wheel wells.

On my cyclone with '69 camaro body i'm actually too wide by using some modified hex adapters from some old hpi 2.2 rims I had kicking around. The width is spot on for the older camaro body.

HPI makes a hex adapter set including aluminium spacers in .5 and 1mm.

what body are you trying to run? most, if not all, of the HPI bodies are made to run with the 31mm +6mm offset rears...with the 26mm +0mm offset fronts...

i know the pegasus bodies are wider then the HPI's...but nothing that should require extensive widening

hey cyclone guys - guess what???

the tcx gear diff will fit the cyclone chassis you do need some spacers/shims to move everything in the appropriate spot (ie, bearings), but the gear diff fits
