I looking to getting this charger, but my question is should I get the Team Orion Advantage Charging System w/LiPo Function? Or the other one without Lipo function.

Thanks

you might as well get the one with the lipo function, it has the cool graphite looking case

I've been having issues getting my charger to return to the main menu screen if I disconnect a pack from the charger or otherwise need to stop charging halfway through. I end up having to disconnect the charger from the 12v and start from the beginning.

Any idea if this is a common irregular fault? In the instructions it says if I press a particular button it will take me back to the main menu but it doesn't appear to(all the time).

This might sound stupid, but I've noticed that you need to hold the buttom down for a few seconds.

I bought this charger to charge my lipo ... I must say this is the worst user interface I have come acrosss in a long while. I can't believe designed by racers for racers ... if that is the case I would like a word !

I used to think the same thing when I first got it. Now I don't think it is that bad, but it definately isn't the easiest.

It looks to me that someone was too lazy to write full instructions or indeed describe clearly which key to press once the setup has been done.

So simple to say hit 'enter' and then the '^' key ..

They don't really describe or explain the you can store lots of charge profiles etc etc

Moan over

I'd say there is a button you push everytime you, or someone you are watching does a lap. Much like how transmitters with the feature work.

Proabably because the new advantage with lipo is out and only about 20 bucks more, I think.
