hmmmm,
my orion has done the same thing as cyrrus. i charged some batteries last night and this morning it says check battery.

josh69162, the pitbulls are the best little charger i owned so far. the earlier blue case does not have any extra features but i used two of them for two years and never gave me a problem. the orion finally let me down. i thought i had a good one. oh well. i did pick up the pitbull X3 a few months ago. one warning. do not repeak with a pitbull unless you are watching it. it will automatically prevent false peaks during the first minute. if your battery peaks during this time it will keep charging.

Default GP3700

Hi,

Anyone got a good setup for GP3700 match cells to share?

I had been using step charge with the following value:
STEP 1..... 200mah 0.7amp
STEP 2..... 2700mah 5.5amp
STEP 3..... 4600mah 5amp

cut of 3mv/cell; temp 50 degree.

Is the discharge mode on this charger discharge from '1 to 10 amps' or '1 or 10amps'?

How does the motor run in work? Can I set the amount of volts goes to the motor? What result does it display?

Thanks.

TFR,
The discharge is 1 OR 10 amps.

The motor run in allows you to set the voltage and time and it displays the amp draw of the motor.

This is a little off topic but hey, what paint did you use to get that very bright flo pink on the shell in your avatar, assuming that is your shell

Cheers Phil.

2 questions, apologies if this was answered ealier in the thread (did not find anything).

1. the new lipo compatible advantage charger, is this made by much-more racing? it seems similar to the cell master.

2. any word on availability of the new advantage charger (i googled the part # from orion's site on google and only a few r/c message boards and orion's site came back)?

thanks in advance.

hey guy's fianlly with much strain and may phone calls finally got my charger back. not Orion's fault, but rather the distributor in Toronto. left it in the warehouse with out intrution then another thing . when I called them and finally solved the problem. Got them to ship it over night.

now my question, is I lost all my setting.

what would be a good setting for both 4 cell pack and 6 cell packs. 33oo.

not to sure if it would be a differnce in the setting for each. but your guy's hellp would be great.

Just picked one of these up and have been playing with it tonight, getting used to the UI (somewhat in need of help), and its features. One quick question: using step charging, should I set the battery data for my 3300's to something higher than that? It seems that the charger cuts off based on either total mAh (as determined by the battery data), deltaV or temp? What sort of values (V, mAh, temp) should I see when a 3300 1.17 pack is successfully charged?

Is it possible to turn on the delta peak monitoring for the first stage when I use stepcharging?

I fried one battery the other day... I was sure that it was discharged but I was wrong . When I realized what is going on the battery was heavily overcharged its temperature was more than 100C and weird noises came from of the cells like ssspppfff pffshhhs . I know that I should connect the temperature sensor to avoid this failure but I just forgot to do so. The delta peak monitoring would be an error proof solution...
