Hi Guys

I'm not competing at LV (shame, its just too far away from the UK), but looking at the 19t motor discussion:

In the UK (not sure about rest of world) there are 3 types of the Orion Element / Peak Dynasty motor available - Stand-up brushes, Lay-down brushes, and the V2 style endbell.

Just thought I'd let you know in case you weren't aware of this.

Already saving up for next year, I will try to make it then! Gonna really look forward to following this on the web, if its half as good as the Reedy coverage it will be ace!

Oli

I was in the same boat at the snowbirds for 2003. I had never seen a 12th scale race or even seen a carpet track at all. Managed to make the B-main so there is hope.

I do have 1 question, I see we can purchase a total of 3 extra sets of the spec rubber tire per entry for quals and mains ...will we be able to purchase additional "unmarked sets" for practice as well?

...and just to make sure, I'm 99.9999% sure what this means e.g. I can purchase 6 additional "marked" sets (3 for stock 3 for 19T, since we get 1 set for the original signup)

It is controled by heats.

Heats are set up just like a race program and each heats runs for practice.

Hope that answers things for you.

the advatages of controled practise is that you will be racing with the same peeps that are in your heats so you will know whos is on and whos not. Also no waiting in a long line for a Freq. clip.

disadvantages are that if you dont know much about set up your SOL cuz you cant try a change out then go take a couple laps to see what it did.

IMO I like the controled practice

No but you got to get it in ASAP! We go to the printers shortly. Send in the check and the entry form with "Added class" written on it.
