Which batts are proving to be better based on the results? GP3700's, IB3800's or IP3800's ??

Looking at the qualifying results, it surprised me the number of racers that didn't sign up with DSM. Is there any reason for this? I was just wondering because I haven't used my Spektrum system since I sent it in to have the problems fixed. I assumed that since they had sorted all of the response lag issues out, the system would have become incredibly populfar, but based on the qual sheet it is not the case. Do some peope still notice a difference when using the Spektrum system?

Since this was going to be one of the first major race where IB3800s were going to be legal we asked the IIC crew to let us know what each car from each main had in them as far as batteries.

The results we got are as follows but may have included Mod Foam B main because weshould only have 80 packs total.

47 IB3800/EPIC3800
36 GP3700
5 IP3800/Grepow3600

Were very happy that 50% plus of the A main users used IB3800s and Team Associated also prefered the IB3800 and used them in the foam classes where they felt the extra capacity and power was beneficial.

Congratulations to everyone who made this race happen and SMC was extremely proud to be one of the major sponsors of this race.

Hey all,

We are tearing down the track right now and packing things up. I know Scotty wants to extend his appreciation to everybody for their kind words and for following everything leading up to the race and everything that took place this week.

Although I am not actually a part of the race crew, I do know that a 2006 IIC is already a go for sure, and they will be announcing dates soon.

Thanks again!
