Ran last years GQ's on my MTX-3 today for my first race day since March and my first outdoors since Sepetember.

It was a compromise today between traction and tire wear. I ran 40's all day. TQ's and walked with the 15 minute main. The GQ 40 defiantley had an advantage in tire wear over the Twister and Fast that I was running against.

Waiting on an order so I can stop using last years foam!

Hello, was able to spread the GQ love to a nitro racer at AJ's sat. night. He crashed hard and broke a rim. Without a backup I suggested he try a GQ nitro foam. He was able to TQ and win the main with no trouble!! All I kept hearing is how the nitro foams were wearing great. After two run he gave them back to me. I ck'ed the wear and it was 1.5mm. And they were 35 shore These foams wear great!! Now he is pestering the track owner into stocking GQ foams. Ah, by the way was able to Qualify 3rd and finish 4th (after a wipeout between myself and the 3rd place car) It was fun to try to run the 3rd place car down. From 50 feet to less than a sec. after crossing the finish line. I just needed 20 more secs. Spread the GQ LOVE!!!!! Ray

Thanks Nexus......yupe, we will be the GQ tires provider on the track next week, including the new 28mm eletric foams that we would love to try out on the outdoor asphaut track.
From the last several races, according from our GQ sponcered drivers.......the GQ lasted a full day of racing including a 30 minutes main race and triple A mains..........I am glad I am done testing and shopping different brand of foams, and now, I have to sell all the other brand foams dirt cheap and get space for the next GQ tires shippment......thanks GQ (and Joseph of course for the opportunity representing GQ on races...)

I raced with 710baby at the Express race, I set TQ round one, but knew it wouldn't hold up, 710 took it in round 2, and another guy jumped up and took it in round 3....In the main I had a good run, got greedy a couple of times and tore my rear wing which hurt handling, then I went over the barriers and popped a shock off but the car still handled well enough to continue on, finished the 20 minute A-Main in 4th position was very rewarding considering this was my first extended A-Main at a big race....Thanks to my pit man, Kaybo, now get your darn car running!

Hey all,

ran yesterday at the ORL2 event in Millville, NJ. The track is a banked paved oval with an infield (think Daytona, without as severe a bank). I qualified 3rd out of 10 drivers, finished 4th after a tangle up early in the 10 minute main required some body maintenance to get me going again, made up 2 laps on 3rd place, but couldnt make up the last 2 laps before time expired.

Tires held up great, no problems with chunking all day, ran an older set for 1st and 2nd round of qualifying went to fresh tires for the 3rd round and main, barely any wear at all. I had some coning on the left-front but that is due to running on the oval's banked corners, everyone had that problem.

Great day of racing, great tires
