Please advise.
Turn it counter clockwise...Screw will move towards A for Positive timing.

I've done this. I shimmed the rotor so it was centered in the stator (about 1 mm from the sensor board) and it still did it. In fact i thought maybe i was too far away from the sensor board so i shimmed it with about a .5mm gap, still no good.
Not sure... Sorry... You may want to return it...

Yes they work pefectly and are ROAR legal as well. I do not have any of the 1112 12.5 high torque rotors in stock though. Only the 12.3's.

They are on backorder right now. I am waiting on a date for them. But Ive told a few other guys if you want a motor now to run with the stock rotor I will give you the discounted price on the rotor when they come in. So you dont have to pay the full normal price for a rotor.

Default 4.5T on 1/12

Hi, I am running Duo3.5 4.5T on 1/12 with Hobbywing 1S.

Currently, my rollout is 39mm now, motor timing set to +10 degree.

For my HW 1S, firmware is 930MOD
punch - 9
boast timing - 5
Turbo - disable.

It is running okie, but doesn't feel as fast and I am trying to optimize the setting.

If I set the motor timing to +20 degree, the ESC will heat very fast which I am concern if I have done anything wrong.

Default Duo3.5 4.5T on a 1/12

I tried with a rollout of 44mm today. Surprising, it seems to be pretty okie. Good speed, motor and ESC seems to holding up.

Do you reckon I might have over-gear giving that I noticed that setup sheet for RC12R5 way back in 2009 is using rollout of ~34mm.

Maybe I'm missing something, I got one of these motors in a 13.5 for 1/12 and am not impressed . I see no difference between it and my thunder power, it feels the same , runs the same lap times and comes off at the same temps. Are other really seeing such gains or is it just new motor dillusions.

There's a guy at my local track who says he still likes the Thunder Power motors more than the D3.5 too. Lotta guys running the D3.5 though.

At least you can be sure the quality is no less than your Thunder Power if everything is the same. Now it's just your personal choice if you like the TP or the Trinity more.

Well i tested a second 17.5 today and had the same problem as the first.

Every once in awhile when accelerating out of turn the car stutters. If I stop after tapping a corner the won't start, it acts just like the sensor board went bad. Wait a second and it's back to normal, for a short while.

I'm fairly convinced it's the Tekin\Motor combo that's not working. We have others running this motor successfully with different ESC's. I have a 13.5 in my WGT with a Hobbywing 1S and it works fine.

There's something about the sensor signal from the motor my Tekin does not like. There's another racer at our track with a Tekin that has had issues as well, just not as often.

It's too bad i really wanted to run this motor at IIC.
