Hey guys! My mylaps transponder black wire has broken off right at the case so there is absolutely nothing for me to solder to, any suggestions or anybody want to fix it for me or know of somebody that can fix this? Thanks!

Old or new one? And if new one, is new one with closed case or sealed case?
When it just has a normal case you can open it. The old RC2 Transponder is way easeyer to repair compared to the new RC4, But both can be repaird. Only there is a RC4 batch where the endcap wasn't availeble and the sealed it with 2 component glue something. That's gonna be hard.

Post a photo?

Regards Robert

i'll have to post a pic of it. It's the rc4 so the hard one. And i think it is just the glue. It looks like it was poured in there.

yes! That is exactly why my new one broke! It's the filled in black plastic one, not the one with the cap and the wires broke because they are too rigid. I'm goign to get rid of my mylaps and by the older versions I think.

And I'm going to have to get a hold of kevin. I bought another transponder to replace this one for now but i'll have to get a hold of Kevin and see what he can do for me

I've been happy with the repairs from MYlaps on my transponders.
