XRAY T3 vs. TC6.1 vs. S411 - Which one and why?
Which is the better car and why?
I bought a used T2 XRAY that I messed around with and wasn't the happiest with for several reasons.
No experience with any Serpents
I had a TC3 back in the day and b44 and b4 and am pretty happy with associated products. Always good build quality and tough as nails (B44 and B4 at least)
So which one would you choose and why? I know 100 people have 100 opinions and I am curious as to who has what to say.
Local hobby shops all either support parts or can order anything I need. I am planning to go to various tracks on the east coast and they all run everything.
I am Leaning towards the TC6.1

This type of thread is getting to me because this type of question has no answer which car is better.... It's not chassis that will make you fast it's up to the driver to make any chassis work for them base on your driving style... Go get a car and make it work that's all I'm saying...

I am an on-road beginner but don't want to learn on something low end and then upgrade later on. I have been in and out of the hobby for 10 years so I know what I am doing (more or less). Want to learn on something high end and good quality and something that won't break on a light hit at the track.
Color aluminum is as pointless as Newt Gingrich's campaign lol

X-Ray is like Ford....Quality is job one. When you build an X-Ray you don't need reamers and the such. This car goes together flawlessly. You can tell when you build one when it just fits perfectly. The car also takes alot of abuse. All of these cars need to be right. Everything needs to be free and Tight where it needs to be tight and free where it needs to be free. If the car is not right it really doesn't matter how good a driver you are. Good luck deciding!!!

Can you tell us why you dont like the Xray T2? Otherwise it's hard for us to suggest you to get the T3.

What surface are you running on.
The S411 would be my pick if running on carpet but on low grip asphalt it seems to perform poorly.

Mostly Asphalt low grip asphalt. (I do not like saucing) I did it once and thought wow, what a stupid stupid stupid thing to do. Its like while the wheels are drenched you have all the grip in the world and can take your car to the limit and then when it wears off you have to learn how to drive again.

On that surface IMO I would be looking at Xray or TOP. If you want a cheaper alternative have a look at the 3 racing XI
