hi all

Im asking this on behalf of a friend, is there a way to run this esc on 1s, he said there was an option on the Hotwire to set it up for 1s but it does work for some reason, does it need a certain firmware to run properly???

Is he using a receiver pack or voltage booster, as is required?

Tell him to run a 2s LiFe pack plugged into the batt port on the receiver, leave the red wire in the RSPro receiver plug and it should work normally.

Remember to use the Off/On switch on the reciever pack, not on the ESC.

You lose low voltage cut off if you don't turn the ESC switch on, but you are right about it not being required. Once the receiver battery is turned on or plugged in, the ESC has power.
