Batteries for Mod

Hey Guys

I dont know if this has been asked before but could anyone recommend what brand and voltage/runtime batteries i would need to run in mod?

The motor will be a brushless system

Any advise or suggestions would be great

Thanks :)

Anything in the 1.18+ range of voltage and over 400sec of runtime on a 30amp discharge.
Or 1.17+ and 370sec on a 35amp discharge. and always a low IR.
I use Orion and Promatch but other great matchers are
SMC.
Fusions I still use one of theres.
Yokomo if you can find them.

Keep this in mind when buying matched cells
1) Is the company a name that has been around for years?
2) Are the prices reasonable?
3) What are the guys who are winning with running.
I like what I like but if you ask such a general questions you are going to get a large pool of opinions.
Go to the websites of major matchers and read up.
Hope this helps.

Fusion batteries are great. Their team and factory team packs would be great for mod.

You don't need 1.18+ voltages to run mod. I have a few 1.18 packs, but most of them are 1.175-1.179 and the difference isn't noticeable. If you have the opportunity to hand select packs from a hobby store or somewhere else, if you are running mod the best things to look at are run time and IR.

Visit Team High Velocity they're a newer company, but offer the same if not better batteries & motors as some of the older/more expensive companies.

YOU DO NOT NEED 1.18 CELLS ! LEARN TO DRIVE AND SET UP YOUR CAR THEN WHEN YOU MAKE THE A AT THE NATS SOME ONE WILL GIVE YOU A 1.18 PACK!!!!!!
