Questions?? Solaris Pre-Mount Glue Job - Usually this bad?

I bought a new set of Solaris Pre-Mounts and it looks like a 5 year old glued them up. Are they usually this bad???

We recently went through 50 sets, and none of them looked like that... all have nice clean glue job..

I got some white ones too, initially they didnt look as bad but upon closer inspection is just because the glue is less noticeable on the white rims.
