Default dyno for 23T motor

I recently took a tour to Hong Kong I noticed that all motor dynos used by most Hong Kong racers such as Team much more MOTOR MASTER SURIKARN, orion motor checker can only measue rpm and amp draw. I have talked with top Hong Kong racers about the use of real high end dyno such as Turbodyno, Fantom,.. They never use them. Why? Are stock 23T motors better constructed than American stock 27T such that Torque, power consumption, voltage, gearing data provided by high end dyno is not needed?

Any insights into why?

In North America, it is hard to find top racers compete without a high end dyno.

How about racers in Japan and Europe? What dynos do they use?

90% of the Guys in Japan use the Much More motor checker
the other 10% Fantom or CE.

Well, I have no idea why some guys in other countries use one dyno over another, but I can say that I have tested a couple of Tamiya's 23 turn motors on my Robi, & I have to say, I'm impressed. For rpm, they're very similar to something like a P2K2(for highest free-spinning rpm I mean), but those things had more torque than I could've ever expected. I'm talking about enough power to rival a number of the 19 turn motors I've tested(though I have tested a number 19's that have more power overall), & more torque than almost ANYTHING I've tested(just a few handwound mods that I've played with had more torque, those things really look like some stump pullers).....
