Default Ozite Carpet Repair

Hey guys, looking for advice on repairing CRC Ozite carpet. We've got the usual tears and I'm wondering if something like the thermal carpet repair tape found at Home Depot would be appropriate. Our carpet gets rolled up weekly, so that might be a factor.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Gorilla tape sticks to Ozite and is very difficult to get loose. We used to use it to mark our carpet until we realized how difficult it was to get off!

I like your enthusiasm. That's a good start, but seeing how we're there already, we need to bump it up a notch. Looking to repair from the back side.

I don't know if it will help your situation, but we use contact cement as well to glue our carpet down. We are in a permanent location however. It might work if you can work it down between the edges of the tears. Sometimes we are forced to cut it to glue it down and it helps to cut a bevel into the thickness of the carpet.

Yeah, we're going from the underside. I think I'll have to harrass some carpet places tomorrow. Just need to weasel the answer out of them without getting sold new carpet.
