Yes, Protoform has a newer 3.0, I believe it is called the "Carpet Version" It has been slightly changed and seems to be a little better than the original.

Yea, the newer one has real nice look to it. Saw it last weekend. Has indents above the shock towers, to get it a little lower. Sweet looking body!

If it's better, in what way? He asked how the body handled, not if it is a new 3.0 out
I am also interested in how the 3.0 handles, if anyone knows. Reply!

Smoother than a Mazda6. A little more steering everywhere and finishes corners better.

At the Novak race I had a 2.0 and a 3.0.The 3.0 had a more noticable amount of steering and felt alot more planted.

Which Yokomo Stratus?? D,E??

anyways if comparing it to a Yokomo E the E has a bit better turn in but the 3.0 seems to be a bit more stable and less twitchy
not a bad body at all good improvement over the 2.0

So anything similar to a Ride MK II or MKIII at the track? Or does it make sense buying a Stratus 3.0 if you have the Ride´s already?

The Ride MkIII would probibaly be close to the 3.0.. but the Ride still rotates better when exiting out of the corners
Still need a few more packs on this body but it@s not bad at all
